A Thought
Did you know you’re a terrible Christian? It’s true. Then again, so am I.
We don’t read our Bible enough, we don’t go to church enough, we don’t pray enough. But Jesus has done everything perfectly in our place. This message of God’s perfect love and forgiveness and the news of Jesus may sound redundant week after week, but when we realize how sinful we are, how much we disregard God and break his commandments, then hearing that we have forgiveness in Jesus’ name is the best news we can hear at any time. A Thought
It’s almost actually time to say “Merry Christmas!” I’m excited. Not that I haven’t said it already, but we’re almost actually in the Christmas season of the church year compared to the season of Advent preparing for it. I look forward to joining with everyone who’s in town on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning to sing praises to the one true King of all creation in celebration of his birth!
