Financial Peace University – FPU Coming in January

Greetings in Christ,

January 12th from 2pm-4pm, Immanuel will start hosting another round of FPU. This is a 9 week course to help anyone get to a place of financial peace and stability.

The materials have been updated, so whether you’ve taken it before and want to be re-inspired or you’ve heard about it before and think it might be a blessing, we’d love to have you.

To sign up, use THIS LINK!

By using that link, you’ll find special pricing available that you won’t find by simply searching for Immanuel on the Dave Ramsey website.

My wife and I took this class while I was going through seminary and this will be my 4th time teaching it. It’s worth it. This isn’t about getting rich quick, it’s about getting back to the basics and taking little steps to establish good habits that will allow you to be a faithful steward of God’s gifts for your own household and to serve and care for others.

If you see the price tag for the class and realize that it’s not possible with your current financial situation, please contact me and we’ll find a way to make things work.

If you would like to help sponsor someone so that they can take the class, please let me know and I’ll be in touch if we have anyone requesting assistance.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Demski

Officer Nick Hopkins #6141

Many of us would like to continue to support Officer Hopkins’ family, and there are many ways within Waterloo to do that. Many businesses have collection jars and several are offering special “dine & donate” days. Most importantly, we can continue to keep his wife, children, family, friends, and his police officer brothers in our daily prayers.

If you are looking for a more specific way to support, the Waterloo Police Department directed us to the ISP website for memorial donations. 100% of your tax deductible donation will go toward building the ISP Memorial Park to honor and remember the sacrifice of those lost in the line of duty. Be sure to put “Officer Nick Hopkins” in the comments.
