Immanuel Lutheran Preschool serves families with children ages 3 through 5 with programs that nurture their total development. We have been a state-licensed preschool since 1979 giving children a solid foundation and motivation for learning. Immanuel Lutheran Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion or national origin for admission.
Our Preschool Director is Mrs. Linda Polansky. We have two teachers, Mrs. Donna Sandersfeld (Ms. Donna) and Mrs. Deborah Joellenbeck (Ms. Deborah). Our kitchen manager and teacher’s aide is Mrs. Devin Voges (Ms. Devin). Get to know them better, by checking out our Staff Information Page.

Hours
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We understand that each preschool family has different scheduling needs. We will work with you to develop a preschool schedule for your child that will meet your work/home demands.
Pricing
Are there any other fees besides tuition?
Yes. There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee per student due at the time of enrollment each school year. This is due when you turn in your enrollment form. We need this registration fee in order to reserve your child a spot on our roster.

There is a $50 materials fee due on August 15th.
When are payments due?
We will do our best to work with you at the time of enrollment to create a payment schedule that best fits your situation. You may pay weekly, twice a month or once a month. Tuition is paid in advance.
When is your birthday cut-off for students?
Your child will need to be 3 years old on or before September 1st.
Children turning 3 between September 1st and January 1st may enroll now to start after our holiday break in December.
Do I need any supplies for my child as we prepare for the school year?
The materials fee takes care of your child’s supplies. That being said, kids love to buy school supplies. If you choose, pick out a backpack, pocket folder and a pencil box that they can call their own.
How will we be notified if there is no school for some reason?
Preschool will follow the Waterloo School District for all school closing due to inclement weather. Please listen to the local TV stations for school closings. Please look for updates to the calendar on this website and in your monthly newsletters that will go home with your child. Also feel free to contact us via phone or email to confirm whether there will or will not be school.
