I can’t believe it’s already the last Sunday of Easter. Next week is our outdoor service and we will enter the Pentecost season.

Instead of focusing on one particular thing today, I thought it would be good to talk about what worship is. I’ve been thinking a lot about the phrase “Casual Worship.” Is there such a thing? Is there such a thing as a “laid back” form of worship in comparison to an “On our toes and focused on what we’re doing” form of worship? Certainly, styles and what is included in a particular worship service can vary depending on time and culture, but what is worship? That’s what I decided to talk about in today’s video. Welcome to our time of preparation for the 5th Sunday of Easter. This is a time to take a moment to reflect on the themes of the day. Today I wanted to take a look at our Opening Sentences for this weekend which comes from Psalm 146. The theme this weekend is about Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
