This weekend Pastor Troup is preaching on the Gospel text from Luke. Luke gives us one of Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances that highlights the physical nature of Jesus’ resurrection. You can look at the readings for this weekend and see the profound effect this news had upon the apostles and other followers of Christ. This weekend is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week.
It’s hard to believe we’re coming to the end of the Lenten season. We’re quickly approaching the remembrance of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.
